Dr. Mohamed Eltahhan, known to his patients as Dr. Mo, grew up in Alexandria, Egypt and attended Alexandria University, where he earned his Bachelor of Dental Medicine and Oral Surgery in 2000.
Over more than 25 years in dentistry, Dr. Mo has gained experience in a broad range of general dental care while practising in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Canada.
He moved to Canada with his family in 2018 and completed the Canadian dental equivalency process to become certified and licensed to practise in Canada. While completing the program, he worked as a departmental assistant and pre-clinical instructor at the University of Saskatchewan College of Dentistry.
Dr. Mo later practised in Regina, Saskatchewan, before moving to the West Coast and eventually joining Delta Centre Laser Cosmetic Dentistry.
His approach combines comprehensive dental care with a strong focus on patient comfort. This is particularly important for people who feel anxious about treatment. Laser dentistry and other modern techniques allow us to approach suitable procedures more conservatively and, in some cases, with less need for freezing or needles.
Outside the office, Dr. Mo enjoys fishing, biking, and travelling with his wife and two boys.
